Amazing Oman

Why Oman?

That’s question I received mentioned going to Oman for Easter Holiday.

If you think Oman is only a hot country in the Middle East – you could be missing out big time.

Why Oman is so Amazing?

This is Anantara Jebel Al Akhdar, the stunning Luxury resort on top of the green mountain of which 2.5 hours drive from Muscat International airport. Your scenery, climate could not be any more different from when your flight has just landed in Oman.

From the mountain retreat, if you drive another 2.5 hours- you will be greeted with this dramatic landscape. Empty quarters or not, for me- one night in the desert camp was just blown my minded.

This is Wadi Shab- it is a mini Grand Canyon to me..I’ve been to Grand Canyon so I can say it… Wadi is a popular places for locals and tourists, it natural water park for us all. Beautiful place but too busy in the afternoon- make sure you get their early in the morning to avoid the crowds. If swimming is not your forte, bring some swimming aids with you. It’s slippery and rocky so suggested decent walking shoe but definitely well worth it.

On the way back to Muscat, you can stop at Bim Mah Sinkhole.

Day trip to Daymaniyat Island and you will get to swim with the turtles, paddle boarding and chill in the white sand beach. Am I in the Caribbean? no I am in Oman still. Trust me yet? Of course not … seeing is believing.. now you go and see it

Trip summary

Fly with Oman Air- BA also fly direct

Rent car- you don’t need a 4×4 unless you plan to sleep in the car some nights. It is safe safe safe and free to park overnight even on the beach. Fuel is cheaper than water and station is everywhere, you will never run out of feud so don’t ever worry.

Oman is still a Muslim country but locals are very understanding, tolerated tourists more than any Muslim countries I ever visited

It is not expensive if you prepare to eat at local restaurant– it will be expensive if you eat and drinks in the hotel all the time.
